Rigsum Goenpa located about 2500 - 3000 meter above sea level is seven hours walk from Bumdelling was founded by lam Tshering Gyamtsho in 18th century which was closed disciple of 9th Je khenpo. The goenpa is more then 300 years ago. It was indeed my pleasure to visit this holy place and it is found to be my greatest achievement of my lifetime. Weather is fine, every people visiting back with full of smiles and happiness. For all visiting we are welcome sweetly by kennyer wholeheartedly. After some weeks of our period my circular trek started in Yangtse, a pretty town in Eastern Bhutan, located in a remote valley where terraces of rice and green and golden prayer wheels tinkles clear above rushing kholong chu. It was bright December morning that we are climbing above the Bumdelling along the leave shed oak and bright rare flowers of rhododendron.
Was it lunch time already? We stopped at peak of gonpa picnicking on red rice and beans, before moving for the visits to each NEY, a holy place at the head of the Gonpa, visited long ago by Guru Rinpoche. There, in the many stories behind for each NEY we step forward relating human life and the thing that many enlighten beings done for the benefits of all like the meditation cave, surrounded by strangely-shaped boulders, rocks and piles of stone phalluses balancing on top, travelling through dark stone-hole from (REEBOO), and lots of other amazing views. At mid night whole we slept blissfully, lulled by the sound of tumbling waters and spinning prayer wheels in the guest room at Goenpa.
When morning came, the fragrance of incense hovered along the bank and we saw the sacred sites dotted in the nearby jungle through the NEYSHEYPA (Person who explain). Bubbling with excitement, he bounded like a deer from one place to the next, pointing out imprints of the Guru’s hair, the pool where he bathed, the rock where he prayed and so much more we could hardly follow.
There are many others places holy places. Something i cant make it to lead my life to next stage without visiting again ones more. My prayers are always with this place to find in the near future if possible....OM MA NE ED ME HUNG..OM AH HUNG BAZA GURU PED MA SEDHE HUNG....
